hi ppl!haven't posted 4 so long cos i was in sydney!!neway,i would lyk to tell u abt my new obsession with ARTEMIS FOWL!!!!woooooooo!!it rox almost as much as teen titans!!juz finished reading a few books.namely: the eternity code,the lost colony,and halfway thru the opal deception.u guys might not lyk artemis fowl,tinking he's this huge nerd tt's a know-it-all,but i tell u tt's a LOUSY argument!he is lyk soooooooo smart,and COOL.seriously.i mean,even tho he wears suits all the time,he is this really UNGEEKY genius.criminal mastermind.yeah the likes.he ALWAYS tinks of really ingenious plans to escape from really impossible situations,which no one could EVER tink of.plus,he can really disguise himself really well.as in,he can b this cool dude at one time,n a brainiac in another.n he has a really BIG bodyguard called Butler who knows whatevr 7 types of discipline and meditation,and can endure GREEEAT levels of pain and fatigue yada yada yada.too many to talk abt.sighh...wish i could b artemis fowl.he's sooooo smart.n he has this really loyal bodyguard who almost died one time to protect him.SIGHHHHH..well,i MUST tell u guys abt the summary of the artemis fowl bks tt i hav read.u guys BTTR read this.artemis fowl and the eternity code artemis fowl creates a really ingenious technolgy frm old LEP(Lower Elements Police--namely FAIRY POLICE) technolgy called the C-Cube.this cube is a computer WAYYYYYYYY ahead of human technolgy,n can access anything and everything,can hack into anything and everything,can download anything and everything, can also hav a radar to detect anything and everything, and will render all other technology worthless.ppl wld die for this technology,cos if dey get their hands on it,they will b VERY VERY VERY VERY rich.so artemis fowl meets jon spiro,another evil genius(of course not as amart as artemis fowl)n offers the cube to him if only he would invest in Fowl Industries.but jon lets artemis walk right into a trap,whr every single person in the restaurant they're supposed to meet in r against them.even butler can't fend them all off,cos they're all holding guns.so butler says out the code tt would set off the bomb under their table(just in case) and temporarily stun all of them.all except jon spiro's bodyguard,arno blunt.he was wearing earplugs.so he shoots artemis,but in the process,butler jumps out in front of artemis and takes the bullet.(sniff:(()but then,before butler got shot,he also fired 4 shots frm his gun,one hitting arno.so the only conscious person in the restaurant is artemis(yay!!)artemis is very touched by butler's actions,and vows to revive him before he dies.so he tinks up another INGENIOUS plan and decides to use cyrogenics.he places butler in a freezer and sets the temp. to -4 Celcius.that should keep butler alive for a bit.then he alerts holly short,captain of the lower elements police,and also his friend to help him revive butler.she manages to do that,but butler is a lot older after the operation,and can no longer b a bodyguard,cos he wasn't as fast as he used to b.den,holly,artemis,mulch(a dwarf-friend of artemis) and juliet(butler's sister,also a kung-fu expert) sets off to take revenge on jon spiro.they manage to make their way past jon's superb technology,only to find that they had walked into ANOTHER trap.yup,jon is quite smart too.bleugh.then jon captures artemis and puts him in a cell.so the other ppl try to save him and succeed,and jon was successfully captured by the police.but then,artemis has to pay a price for involving the fairy police in so much work.his memory would hav to b wiped.every memory he has of the fairies would be wiped,and new ones wld b added in its place.of course some ppl lyk holly,mulch were sad,cos artemis was their fren,but they hav no choice.b4 his memory was wiped,artemis handed mulch a medallion,supposedly as a gift,but actually,thr is a computer disk inside that mulch can show artemis,and it contains evry single detail at the fairy people,so that artemis can remember evrything all over again.shan't talk too much abt the story,dun wanna spoil the surprise.haha.oh god my summary is SOO long and it's only the first book.well nvm.2nd one now. artemis fowl and the lost colony
the story starts out by holly short and mulch capturing a fish-thief pixie called doodah day.yeah funny name but wadevr.n artemis fowl is doing some calculations in his head,cos he knows that a demon is going to appear at whr dey r in a few minutes' time.now demons r actually fairies that go thru a painful process called warping,and transform into ugly creatures that r human-haters.dey always need to wear silver so that they would not b transported to another dimension.so precisely whr artemis expected it,a demon appeared,and artemis went thru many dimensions with him.why?cos the demon wasn't wearing any silver.luckily butler grabbed hold of artemis' hand at the last moment,and managed to pull him back.but artemis fowl realised that something had happened to his hand,cos his index finger and middle finger had switched positions.meanwhile on the demon planet,thr is a demon outcast called No. 1,who is the only demon who hasn't warped even tho he was already 14 years old.most demons warp at 12 years at the most.in reality,he is actually the last surviving warlock frm a long long long time ago.warlocks r magical creatures who can perform magic.the leader of the clan,leon abbot is a really muscular demon,and he knows tt No. 1 is a warlock,but still picks on him all the time.so No. 1 can't stand the tauntings anymore,and decides to take off his silver and be transported to the human world.artemis is aware of it of course.however,thr is another child genius called minerva paradizo,and she is also determined to capture the demon for study.she hires a bodyguard called billy kong,whose brother was killed when he was young.his brother used to tell him that demons were chasing him when he was young to keep him at home,but in fact,gangsters were chasing him everyday.billy kong thought his brother had been killed by the demons and vows to take revenge.so when minerva manages to capture No. 1,billy wants to kill him.but minerva disallows it,and billy gets enraged and turns against her.then artemis fowl manages to steal No. 1 back,being such a genius and all.even tho minerva is his sort-of enemy,he still wants to rescue minerva cos he feels that he is partly at fault.so billy kong agrees to exchange minerva for No. 1.however,artemis has trick or two up his sleeve.he lets No. 1 hold some silver in his hand,so when it is safe,No. 1 can drop the silver and be transported to another place.according to artemis' calculations,No.1 shld reappear not far from the place.so holly short assists artemis,and helps No.1 and bla bla bla,and abbot was killed, and they all lived happily ever after.
