hi ppl!im blogging again woohoo!:))before i start on my lovely post, let me wish u all...
Happy March holidays people!!!!
yeah i noe it's not really a holiday cos of ccas and TONS of h/w and stuff, like me.i onli hav 3 days hols, cos i hav 3-day girl's brigade camp(which i juz had, mon-wed)and cpr course on fri, and that's not including the days which i have to minus to do h/w, which is lyk...so much??!!if i stack it all up i think it can reach the ceiling sia!!we hav lyk chem hw,geog hw, english hw,japanese hw plus revision, especially chem since our crappy teacher doesn't even TEACH??!!juz flings ws at us and expects us to get lyk...all correct or else she would have a black face and scolds us like shit for not getting all correct. and do you noe how UGLY she is???she has this big fat mole on her cheek,and she's forever sneezing like shit, when it's not even cold!now wonder she's "MISS koh".who would want her?ok im digressing.ya i noe there's lotsa hw,ah it's not even holiday at all!!!aargh!!:((

ok beside the point, i wanna talk about my girl's brigade camp!it roxxxx!ok this might b a long post, but i promise it would be interesting.:)k. let me start from the beginning of the 1st day. i was walking to the salvation army in bukit timah(my mum drove me to the outside of it)then i met my fren julia and we walked inside together.i thought i was super early cos i arrived lyk half an hour before the time we were supposed to be there,so i was happy!!then i went to the dining hall and saw a whole group of people sitting there so i realised i wasn't very early after all.then we played the human tangle game and after half an hour i was STILL stuck in the same position.in the end,we deemed the tangle "impossible to untangle",cos our brains were too puny.haha..jkjk.anyways,then we went to to the fellowship hall and gathered there,and i saw that i was in group 8 with a whole bunch of ppl i didn't even noe AT ALL. let me list the ppl in my group:

ya i totally didn't even see their faces before ok and here they are in my group.so i felt awkward but started socialising anyway.i first made friends with esther.she's called esther ng from 110.hadley.ya she's really nice i found out in the beginning.then we sat down and talked a bit.then we had some icebreaker games with our squads(i was in heralds,which means we sing songs of worship.way cool.)and we were playing lame games lyk..err...i dunno,most of the games didn't hav names cos they were made up on the spot.hahaz..ok we played murderer.i was detective,and i kept eyeing the murderers but no one listened to me!!:(oh ya grace zhang,waddle house cap. was in my squad.she's the one that made up all the lame games.haha.:))i find her v.v.v.v. smiley.as in she keeps smiling and smiling.and she v. naughty oso. once she found out that my name was grace too,and my surname rhymed with hers (ang,zhang.gettit?)she crept up to me when i was not looking and started writing grace on my LEG.where everybody could see it.in DARK PURPLE.i couldn't wash it off!!!after 3 days i can STILL see that word.sheesh.but anyway.then we had lunch.den we had bonding time with our group members.i found out that renci and wai ian were very nice ppl at that time.and marjorie wasn't as loud as i thought she would be.she's the quiet type of sec 4,but she still roxx!!:))then we had to prepare for our picnic dinner,and make sandwiches for sandwich-making competition.we put cherry tomatoes(yum!!),cabbage,hot dogs and luncheon meat into our sandwiches.then we went to the dairy farm quarry nearby, and played some games before eating our dinner.oh ya and our group made pasta too for dinner!!yumyumyum!!they tasted SOOO good.by then it was dark and we started to go back.elaine was telling me how she also camped in this very campsite, and told me about the dogs howling at night,and all the frogs hopping around them and stuff.yuck.and her gross class last year who liked to keep disgusting insects like earthworms,bats,caterpillars,cockcroaches etc etc as PETS!!and she liked them to crawl on her hands during class!!EWWWWW!!!!

ok.2nd day.we had inter-group amazing race around bukit timah. we were supposed to complete stations in various parts of bukit timah,and we had to take bus or train to get there.taxi or chauffeur not allowed.we were given about 5h to complete 7 stations.at first i thought it was more than enough.then after completing 5 stations,i realised that we only had 1h to complete both of them, and the rides between these two were lyk half an hour??and going back to salvation army took like..15min??so we only had 15 min to complete both stations, and i tell u that's NOT enough.we were lyk rushing and rushing,and we completed 15min late.aah!but through the amazing race,i realised that i bonded a lot with my group.lyk discussing where and how to go next and all the stations required teamwork, so i really got to know my group better, and that was VERY good in a sense.renci and nicole were the navigators,deciding where to go next,ruo ting was the creative manager, sort of,forever thinking of lame ideas to complete stations,until the station masters were laughing like siao.:))haha.you know we had to compose an aerobics workout at one station,and she was like thinking of doing animal actions like pigeon(then you hop on 1 leg), then chicken(then we move our hands like chickens),penguin(then we walk like penguin),ostrich stick head in ground(then we put our head on the ground while standing up) and chicken laying egg(then we squat and jump around),then got dolphin(then we move like dolphins),octopus(then we move out hands like octopus)etc etc.by the time w finished, the station masters were like clutching their stomachs and laughing like mad.then we did our group cheer: "We ate(eight)our breakfast,we ate(ate) our lunch.group 8 group 8,packs a punch.hua!(then we punch outwards)"haha damn funny la.there's also one very lame cheer "a-l-i-c-i-a(example name),we bring you to visit parks,so please give us more marks!"doesn't even make sense!!but wadevr.:)then we came back,ALL sweaty,but contented lah,cos we really bonded.then i had a nice long shower, then we had dinner,then night surprise.i thought the sec 4s were going to perform or sth,but turns out to be a verrrrryyyy scary game.we were all given a scenario, that the salvation army centre was a hospital,and all the patients needed pills to cure their illness,but they were missing.so we had to go and find clues to find the pills.we then had to go into rooms and hear the "patients"(which were actually sec 4s acting)and they would say some stuff, which would hint sth, then we had to go and find out what they meant.wah all the sec s acting very good leh.they put makeup so that they looked bloody, and they spoke in those eerie tones that made me feel super scared,even though it's made up.i almost puked ok.it was damn damn scary.then there were like secret police which would randomly pull people into the "scary room", whereby they had to find the missing barbie doll's head, and it was damn scary.lucky i never get pulled away.whew.=3but then it was so super scary, that i couldn't sleep that night.omgomg.i was freaking out all night long.in the end no one found the pills, and we all had to drag all the "dead patients" back into the hall, and they were scattered in various places.but their acting was really bad in this part,cos we kept carrying her in the wrong places and joking, so they had to try REALLY REALLY hard to control their laughter,but their mouth was lyk twitching.their body was also really tense, and i could feel her vibrating with laughter!!haha..in the end,God blessed them and they miraculously ressurected and came back to life!we were so "shocked".haha...i NEVER expected THIS KIND of night surprise.there's gonna be one more this june camp.oh man.

3rd and last day.which is actually today.we had boring stuff.not really very exciting stuff.we had praise and worship.we sang some songs,and the person singing the songs were so touched and moved by God's love for us that she started crying.i also was on the verge of tears, but i managed to hold back my tears.then devotion,and we had a speaker to tell us about joy and peace in biblical terms.he's quite funny lah..:)then we had bunk clean-up and inspection.i found LOTS OF hair in the dorm.i wiped them all into one pile using a rag,and it looked DISGUSTING.then we were dismissed.smsed my fren while waiting for my mum.

reflection:i realised that i really really bonded with my group through this camp. though we didn't win the sandwich-making,amazing race or concert item, but i really felt very satisfied.cos my group has really nice ppl, and we talk a lot about all kinds of stuff.winning isn't everything you noe.yes our group did try our best to do the stuff as best as we could,and i think that's enough already.we don't work to win u noe.we work to feel that sense of satisfaction, and as long as we tried our best, i think that's more than enough already.my group has really made me make a lot more new frens.at first when i entered gb i thought that all the seniors would be very stuck-up and stuff, but then i realised that it was not true at all.they are really friendly and helpful.i don't think there was a better cca than this.:))3 cheers and 3 cheers and 3 cheers for GB.hip hip!HOORAY!hip hip!HOORAY!hip hip!HOORAYYYYY!!!!woooo!
