today my house was being painted by workers so my whole family had to sit at the living room and not get in the way of the workers.so we just stoned around and read books.in the end me and my sis got so bored that we decided to go out.my sister drove to marina square! :P it was a rather comfortable ride la.except for a few jerky stops and sharp swerving, and driving too close to the cars and motorcycles in the carpark until we almost knocked into them,it was a nice ride!
watched golden compass with my sister at marina square!unforntunately we had to sit 2 rows apart from each other cos the cinema was fully booked :( anyways the movie was GREAT i think!much better than stardust or game plan or the seeker or whatever.maybe cos of the special effects la.like the daemons (SO CUTE AAAHH!) and iorek!iorek is so strong and brave and so protective of lyra...sighzz i could just DIE :P haha when the gobblers were attacking the kids that were trying to escape, lyra thought she was all alone until iorek arrived,then the witches,then the gyptians...its so cool and touching that lyra has built up SO MANY powerful allies in such a short time!haha the gobblers were hopelessly outnumbered lols :D i like golden compass! its the best movie i've watched so far ok!dont care that other ppl say that its not very nice,i think its SUPER nice! everyone must go watch!!!haha me and my sis smuggled burger king burgers into the cinema without the person noticing.maybe cos we stuffed the burger into my bag hahas.shhhh.
after that we went to some japanese-style pasta restaurant to eat.damn that place was fully booked up so in the end we had to wait half an hour before we could go in -.-" so we walked around in the meantime to shops like newbie and times and fresh profusion and warehouse.my sister bought a pink tank top and brown miniskirt for me from newbie for my christmas present!!aww thanks sis! :D it will go well with my boots for chinese new year...hmmm. xD then i bought 3 pairs of earrings for $5 at fresh profusion OMG so cheap and the earrings are super nice.then FINALLY we got the seats in the restaurant and i ordered this chicken,prawn and macaroni thingo with cheese on top,kinda like lasagna, and my sister ordered this spicy carbonara thing with an egg on top.its quite savoury and tasty!mine was good too!cos i really really like cheese!!oooh i want cheese! :D for drinks i bought this mixed fruits juice thingo.it actually was mostly banana juice -.-" with whipped cream and a cherry on top.for dessert we shared this FANTASTIC ice cream dessert called fruits parlait or sth.anw its SUPER SUPER SUPER NICE OK!its this vanilla ice cream top with fudge at the bottom with assorted fruits on top like kiwi and strawberry and banana and honeydew.then at the bottom theres another surprise!there are crunchy cornflakes at the bottom OMGGG!its like so unexpected when you scoop up the last few mouthfuls and suddenly you taste something crunchy!omg i love fruits parlait ok! haha then after we finished the thing me and my sis decided to do something gross :P my siter poured the water from her drink into the ice cream cup and there were an assortment of spices on the table like pepper and salt and chilli olive oil and chilli spice!so guess what?i just scooped a couple of each into the cup and stirred.the result?this pink-ish syrup with black bits floating on top...haha then my sis covered the top with a piece of tissue and later i pushed in it so half of it was still dry and not wetted by the syrup.looked a bit like the whipped cream on my drink! :P then this waitress walked by and she looked at the syrup and looked at the both of us really funnily.then me and my sis were laughing like crap.haha so funny! :D
